‘Nos4a2’: starts and ends well, 300-page middle snoozefest

Strong protagonists and creepy villains with an army of mutant children and a unique premise bookend this work.

Unfortunately, the middle is just back and forth repetitive filler that wastes an astonishing 300 pages.

The book needed a much better editor.

I am a fan of much of Joe Hill’s other works, mostly because they are more tightly written.
